no.4 exercise

remember when i almost liked running? maybe it would be a good thing if i really did. i went for an hour yesterday (lots of walking breaks!) and now my arch hurts. that's all. just one arch. random? yes. maybe it's telling me i should exercise more. i really do think exercise is a good thing. i just need to remember that when i don't want to get out of bed. so i am hoping that by sharing how good exercise is--maybe it will make me do a little more. anyone have any good exercise secrets? how to really make it a good thing?

I suggest taking a friend, they can be great motivators. Especially if they don't live with you and you make a time in the morning. It's great motivation to get out of bed, as you don't want to stand your friend up. :)

Or make a goal for when you get back after running. "If I run before 10am and get back, I can watch (I don't know) Oprah, or Martha Stewart". :D

I bought an elliptical on craigstlist and have loved working out for the first time. Time goes by really fast when you are watching a movie or TV, and it's in the comfort of your own home. Good luck.

I like exercise that I don't think of as exercise, like playing tennis, tag, dancing, swimming, etc., but it's better with friends. Especially tennis. :P

My arches hurt when I run too... I wonder if it "runs" in the family... haha... I just thought of that.
