bangled baby

when i had macy, the first thing i was given was a tiny bracelet that my sister had bought when she was pregnant with her first. she'd had three boys since purchasing it- so i lucked out and was the recipient of that adorable gift. (don't worry, she had a girl after i did and got plenty of bracelets as well)
bracelets quickly became my most favorite thing for my baby girl. so i was super excited when my good friend said she wanted to start making bracelets for her baby girl. even better- she opened an etsy shop! not only does she have darling designs, but she has amazing prices! so hurry over and check out her shop before she raises her prices!

etsy = sweet fabric
another thing i love about etsy is that you can find any designer fabric there. recently when my cute sister in law decided she wanted a certain fabric for her flower girl dresses, i went to etsy when i found out it was no longer being made. in just a couple minutes of searching etsy i found more fabric than i needed! one of the sellers was the dizzy daisy. i don't know this seller personally, but have fallen in love with her shop and her sweet personality after purchasing the fabric from her. the fabric arrived in only 2 days and she was completely accomodating and generous as a seller. this is a shop i like to check when i am in a fabric mood because she always has such cute prints. actually, i am loving this one as a new blanket for macy's big girl bed. what do you think?

little pretties is one!
guess what today is? my one year anniversary of being little pretties on etsy! it's not the day i listed my first item, but close- so in honor of joining etsy, i am going to highlight other etsy sellers until the actual day i first listed an item. on that day i will have a happy little giveaway! don't know what day i listed my first item last year? check back and you will see!etsy is such a great idea for anyone who wants to make a living selling what they make. it's a fun outlet to share things you love and find very creative and brilliant people. for example, my friend just opened an etsy shop called critter cuddles with stuffed animal baby blankets she makes. they are so adorable and such a cute idea! it's a super soft blanket with a stuffed animal attached. you just have to see it to get it. i love that you can have both a blanket and a toy but only have to keep track of one thing. and how sweet does this little gorilla look? what a clever etsy seller!
