Pretty! I understand the "taking forever" -- all of my quilts seem to take forever, and I can't even use hand applique as an excuse!
I am absolutely inspired by your plan to finish up old projects. A week or two I made a list of projects that I'd started (or at least bought the materials and patterns for) and not finished. Last week I ticked two off my list -- thanks for the inspiration!
That is so so pretty! I love hand applique. And I think one of the reasons I started knitting is that it gave me something to do while watching TV!
