saw this article and thought that's also a reason why i have been such a sporatic blogger. i want to blog, really i do! and i will as soon as i finish that last episode of days... haha not really. also, if you are my friend in real life, please don't be offended if i choose to sew or nap or clean my house over hanging out with you. being creative and keeping house is how i unwind my nerves and refresh my soul. what a great article.

Ha ha! That is GREAT! I could never articulate it so well, but well said. Thanks for sharing, and of course, we understand about not blogging:) I am exactly the same way!
I love that article. I understand friends feeling sad as life changes - their friends getting married and having even less time when they have kids, but it's rather silly to think that moms have as much time on their hands as they did before.
I love that article! Where did you find it? I want to print it out to have others read when I feel like I néed to justify my moments of relaxation or sewing.
Umm... Never mind about where you found it, I just saw your source link! By the way, I am starting a new quilt that should be so cute if it turns out but might Ge a little challenging! I'll let you know how it turns out!
Sara, I love that article! I love that the reader is from western Washington state (a.k.a. the land of singles or 1-kid families). I cannot even begin to count the number of comments I get about having so many kids. Seriously, you would think I had an entire football team by the way people talk. Thanks for sharing!
P.S. How are you liking Texas? I hope you aren't melting. We are still dreaming of coming back soon.
Amen to that! :)
