happy memorial day!

in honor of one of my favorite holidays to start my most favorite season of the year, we will be eating plenty of red salsa with blue chips and white (vanilla) homemade ice cream.... thanks to my sister for sharing this yummiest salsa recipe with me! and the best part: it's super easy! no chopping tomatoes! (which i highly dislike having to do- ever)

Super Easy Salsa:
2 cans mexican style stewed tomatoes (or 2 cans regular stewed tomatoes and 1 can green chiles)
2 large tomatillos (remove paper husk, wash, chop)
2 (or more if you dare) serano or jalapeno peppers
(remove the seeds!)
1 medium white onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bunch cilantro
2 limes, juiced
salt to taste
Put all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend until consistency desired.
