the time has come

to talk about fall. i always find myself in denial for the whole month of september, then october hits and i feel so rushed because i only have two months left before it's too late to soak up my favorite decorating time of year! i don't have a lot of decorations for fall and most of them are getting pretty old, but i do love them all. i love how it feels so natural to mix fall things with everyday things. like the changing of the seasons. the leaves just fall everywhere and become a part of whatever they land on. i think fall is something i love but don't always look forward to because it means something else is coming- something colder and meaner and not nearly as fun... but in the meantime i will bundle up and enjoy this short season known as fall.
