blogging is such a great thing. it has really changed a lot in the world. people can say things they wouldn't say otherwise. people are friends who aren't really friends. people are teachers without even knowing it. that's how i feel about this adorable blogger nienie. i've never met her, but i have been learning from her blog for almost a year. she is everything a mother should be. she loves life and she loves her family. about a week ago she was in a terrible plane crash. i've been anxiously following details of it with a heavy heart.
in appreciation for what nienie's blog has done for the world, thursday has been declared "nienie day" and in an effort to help, i am auctioning off these two little baby quilts. each made of 100% cotton fabrics- with sweet swirls of patchwork appliqued on front. machine quilted and hand finished for a timeless look. i love them and hope someone out there will too!
